Falcons TE Tony Gonzalez sat down with NFL Network’s Stacey Dales to talk about his quest for a Super Bowl, what it was like to change teams and his status among the all-time great tight ends in an exclusive interview on NFL GameDay Morning. Gonzalez, who holds the all-time records for receptions, yards and touchdowns among tight ends, was asked if he considers himself the best to ever play the position.

At 33, Gonzalez still is a threat in the passing game. He has lost a bit of speed, but he still can get deep because he is so crafty. A former basketball player at Cal, Gonzalez creates separation by nudging defenders and using basketball moves. He has better hands than most wide receivers. Gonzalez doesn't wait for the ball to get to him -- he goes to the ball.

As a blocker, Gonzalez is average. He never knocked defenders off the ball, and he can't sustain blocks as well as he once did.
