Every season The Bachelor and The Bachelorette find new ways to keep us on the edge of our seats. However, normally they draw out the drama until later on in the season, and sometimes even after the season has ended, but this season, at the end of the second episode Chris Harrison dumped Bachelor contestant Rozlyn before Jake had a chance to.
“I didn’t believe it at first,” Jake tells Entertainment Tonight. “I’ve never been cheated on. I thought it was something that was being produced and thrown at me. As it was unraveling, I realized it was serious.”
As for reports that ABC is embellishing the affair to be something it’s not , Jake denies this. “Everything that’s going to air Monday is exactly the way it happened. There is no embellishing and there’s no holding back.” Jake also confirms that the staff member is no longer working on the show.
According to Rozlyn, she and the producer continue to remain “close” friends but are not a couple.
